Kassandra and Aaron turned their wedding day into a unique event that completely represented both of their personalities and it turned out AMAzing.  Kassandra painted and adorned her wedding day shoes with feathers, bows and jewels and had the most creative bouquet made entirely of broaches.  Gorgeous!  Their cake had a bride and groom fighting off bloody zombies and Kassandra walked down the isle to the theme song from Star Wars.  There were so many other touches that made their day unique, it would take me all day to list them.

I have known Kassandra for a long time and am thrilled she’s found a partner that matches her wit, intelligence and zest for life. I’m positive this lifetime has many adventures in store for these two.

One of the best parts of our job is getting to see each couples individuality through the details they plan into their wedding day.  Shawna and Jared made sure that every aspect of their wedding, from the dress and decor to their vows and reception activities, fit their lives and their love perfectly.

The bride’s and bridesmaid dresses were all handmade by the incredibly talented Kimberlee of Deco Modiste, which created the most lovely vintage atmosphere.  Our favorite touches of the day…  Jared’s violin serenade to Shawna in place his of verbal vows, Shawna’s reading from The Little Prince in place of her vows, the couples “pinky-swear” to seal the deal and last but not least, the his and hers pinata smashing at the end of the evening.   We continue to be awed by the thoughtfulness, passion and fun couples infuse into their wedding day planning.  Shawna did a great job making the day totally theirs!

Our lives are so blessed to have Mandi and Adam as friends.

We have watched their journey from the beginning and the love and respect they demonstrate toward each other is nothing short of inspiring. As you can imagine, their wedding weekend was as thoughtful and loving as every day that lead to its culmination.

Friends and family surrounded them at the beatufiul Guemes Island Resort in the San Juan Islands and the support, joy and love for their union was nearly palatable.

We are sooo looking forward to growing with them through their journey…
